 India is such a country in which the list of National Parks is as big as this country and its population.                                                                                                                       Let us tell you that there are a total of 103 National Parks in India, due to which after China and Thailand, India's name comes in the third largest number of National Park countries in Asia. There is a lot of variation in comparison to National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary in India, which also includes Tiger Reserves, Desert Sanctuary, Bird Sanctuary, Marine Park and Floating National Park.                                                                                                  The best time to visit all the National Parks in India is from about October to March because the monsoon affects adversely and the jungle is very hot in the summer season.

 Today we will tell about the top 7 National Parks of India, so let's start.

  1) Sunderban National Park-

Sunderbans National Park is located in the Indian state of West Bengal, which is known for its largest mangrove forests in the world. It is also a National Park Tiger Reserve and Biosphere Reserve Forest. In this park, the sound of Royal Bengal Tiger and flowing rivers can fully enjoy  nature.

2)  Periyar National Park-

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, wildlife preserve in south-central Kerala state, southern India. The  sanctuary is famous for its herd of Asian elephants, which sometimes has 50 members.

 Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and Tiger Reserve is one of those few wildlife vacation destinations which are open in monsoons too. You can visit Periyar in any season. The best time to visit Periyar         is September to April.

  3) Bandipur National Park-

The park is one of the richest wildlife areas in India, being particularly noted for its intact assemblage of seven large angulate species (muntjac, chital, sambar, chousingha, gaur, wildpig and elephant) and three large predatory carnivores – tiger, leopard and dholes.

 Bandipur National Park charges INR 250 as the entry fee. The fee for safaris varies with the mode of transport. Buses and gypsies are available for safari. A gypsy ride, which can seat 6 people at a time, costs Rs 3000 while a bus ride costs Rs 350 per person.

4) Nagarhole National Park and Tiger Reserve-

Also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park, the sanctuary is a tiger reserve under Project Tiger and Project Elephant. The sanctuary is home to Bengal tigers, leopards and the largest herd of Asian elephants in the world.

It is a 247 square mile long bounty of nature located right next to the Kabini River. The park is situated on the west side of the river and is one of the best managed national parks in India. Nagarhole is one of the best national parks for black panther sighting in India.

5) Ranthambore National Park-

Ranthambore National Park is a national park in Rajasthan, India, with an area of 1,334 km (515 sq mi). It is bounded by the Banas River in the north and the Chambal River in the south. It is named after the historic Ranthambore Fort, which is located within the park.

Ranthambore is known for its large population of tigers. During the last few years, there has been a decline in the tiger population in Ranthambore due to poaching and other reasons. As park tourism and the population of neighboring villages increased, there were more frequent fatal human-tiger interactions and poaching.

6) Kanha National Park-

 Kanha National Park was created on 1 June 1955 and was designated a tiger reserve in 1973. Today, it is spread over an area of 940 km (360 sq mi) in the two districts of Mandla and Balaghat.

The park has a significant population of Royal Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, sloth bear, barasingha and Indian wild dog. The jungle depicted in Rudyard Kipling's famous novel The Jungle Book is based on the forests including this reserve.

7) Bandhavgarh National park-

Bandhavgarh National Park is located in Madhya Pradesh, which has a lot of animals like Asiatic jackal, Bengal fox and sloth bear.

If you want to see the big cat then Bandhavgarh National Park, Madhya Pradesh is a place worth visiting. India's top habitat for tigers, it has the highest density of Royal Bengal tigers in the world. All the white tigers of the world trace their roots to Bandhavgarh National Park.
