ABOUT THIS JOB

As Agniveer (SSR), you will become part of a highly technical Organization. You will be required to serve in powerful, modern ships such as Aircraft Carriers, Guided Missile Destroyers and Frigates, Replenishment Ships and highly technical and fascinating submarines and aircraft

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work is divided amongst different teams that do different kinds of jobs. It could be operations of various equipment such as radars, sonars or communications or firing of weapons such as missiles, guns or rockets.

TRAINING & ADVANCEMENT

Candidates selected will undergo Basic Training at INS Chilka followed by Professional training in the allotted trade in various Naval Training Establishments. Branch / Trade will be allotted as per the requirement of the service.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

Qualified in 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics and at least one of these subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from an educational board recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.

AGE

The age for Agniveer (SSR) candidates should be between 17½ - 21 years on the day of enrolment.

*A one-time relaxation of upper age limit upto 23 years has been granted for the Agniveer 2022 batch.

The age of the girls applying here should be between 17 and a half years to 21 years.

In this recruitment, the selection of girls will be done through written exam and physical test.

Questions from these subjects in the exam

Objective type questions will come in this exam, which have to be solved in 30 minutes. In this, questions related to Maths, Science and General Knowledge will be asked, whose syllabus and sample paper is available on the website of Indian Navy.

Physical test will be like this

After passing the written exam, Agniveer girls will be called for physical test, they will have to complete 1.6 kilometer run in 8 minutes and 15 sit-ups and 10 sit-ups will also be done. After passing this test, they will be called for the medical test, which will be held at INS Chilka. After which their final selection will be done and posting will be given to them.

In the first year of getting a job in the Indian Navy, women Agniveer will be given a salary of 30 thousand rupees every month. After this, 40 thousand rupees every month in the second year, 36 thousand 500 rupees every month in the third year and 40 thousand rupees in the fourth year.
